The Almost
The Almost
In The Almost, two mirrored figures drift toward one another—suspended in the space between yearning and restraint. Their eyes closed, they move not with certainty but with instinct, drawn by an invisible current of emotion, memory, and breath. The pink abstract background pulses like a heartbeat, a soft echo of longing.
This work explores the tension of intimacy unfulfilled—the magnetic pull that exists in nearness, in the pause before the kiss, in the breath before the plunge. It is about connection not yet realized, desire held in exquisite stillness.
The Almost invites the viewer to linger in that suspended moment—the one where anything could happen, but hasn’t…
Diptych | Mixed media on canvas 35 x 70 x 2 cm
A diptych (pronounced dip-tik) is a term used in art to describe a work made up of two separate panels or canvases that are meant to be viewed together as one piece. The panels are often connected thematically, visually, or conceptually— which mirror each other and share a narrative or emotional thread.
