Materials
I use a mix of materials in my work, each chosen for what it brings to the piece — texture, contrast, or a certain mood. It’s all about finding the right combination to bring the idea to life and make it feel complete.
Art Materials Used:
When I paint, I use different materials to bring my visions to life. Each is carefully chosen for its unique properties and ability to contribute to the overall aesthetic of the artwork.
1. Acrylic Paint: Acrylic paint usually serves as the foundational medium in many of my creations, particularly in the development of abstract backgrounds. Renowned for its ability to be watered down (thinned) and then especially fast-drying nature, acrylic paint allows me to explore a wide range of techniques, from bold brushstrokes to delicate washes, lending depth and texture to the canvas.
2. Molotow Black and Gold Series Spray Paints: To add dynamic energy and striking visual contrast in both shine and pigment, I turn to the Molotow Black and Gold Series spray paints. These high-quality aerosols offer rich, opaque colors and precise control, enabling me to layer intricate patterns, dusty gradients, and textures. I especially use spray paints to build up layers of faces when I strive for a more realistic portrait with no outlines.
3. GROG Heavy Pigmented Ink: For vibrant street art expressions that I wish will command attention, I use GROG heavy pigmented inks in fluorescent colors into my artwork. Squezzers makes great statement writting and inks with brush makes me draw fine outlines. Their neon inks are simply exceptional in brightness and luminosity, this ink gives my paintings an electrifying intensity, radiating light and energy. Whether used for fine details or bold accents, the fluorescent pigment of GROG ink create a mesmerizing visual spectacle, captivating the viewer's gaze and inviting exploration.
By mixing different materials, I like to explore new ways of expressing ideas and emotions. Every brushstroke, spray of paint, or drop of ink carries intention — coming together to create something that feels layered, bold, and full of feeling. It’s not just about how it looks, but what mood and depth the layers can create all together.
UV light displays a different expression
The UV light adds a dreamy, almost otherworldly feel — making the colors glow from within. It brings out hidden layers, highlights the shapes, and gives the whole piece a sense of movement and energy that shifts with the light.
