Ready or Not is a captured moment and expression when you stop waiting for certainty, approval or perfect timing — and realise you have to move towards what’s right for you.

Her upward gaze carries both hesitation and certainty through the layers of colour, words and chaos surrounding her.

For me, this painting is a reminder that we don’t always have to feel ready. Sometimes the decision comes first — and courage follows.
